RECORDS ARCHIVIST I, OR RECORDS ARCHIVIST II, OR RECORDS OPERATIONS ANALYST (1 Position available based on qualifications met) Records Management Department - Kicking Horse Complex CSKT RECORDS MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT is offering ONE full-time position to a customer service-oriented individual who enjoys supporting and leading others. Successful candidates will embody abilities such as effective communication, team partnerships and leadership, business or technical writing skills, strong knowledge and experience using computer applications, and should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with attention to details. This is a great opportunity to assist with near ground-zero buildout of a modern records management system, starting with policy development and implementation support, program planning, intra-departmental educational outreach, operational expertise from creation to warehousing or disposal, and much more! The newly created department is designed with two divisions (Program Support and Operations Support) housing seven positions. Four positions are structured with a career development component allowing a newly hired team member to qualify at one of three levels in either of the two divisions. A career track will be afforded for advancement to more technical and administrative skills, which allows for succession and increases in earnings from that initial placement. One vacancy to be filled depending on qualifications may be hired in one of these three positions: FIRST POSITION – Entry as RECORDS ARCHIVIST I, which will present opportunity to train for the SECOND POSITION – RECORDS ARCHIVIST II, which will present opportunity to train for the THIRD POSITION – RECORDS OPERATIONS ANALYST. The successful applicant must have at a minimum a High school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of one (1) year verified experience in data tracking, scheduling, and data management responsibilities. Must have training in areas of teamwork, decision-making, compliant records, and record lifecycle is required within first year of employment. Must have valid Montana Driver’s License or be able to obtain one within six (6) months. REVENUE/RESOURCE DIVISION MANAGER TRIBAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT Location negotiable The successful applicant must have an Associates Degree in business administration; medical administration, health administration or computer sciences. Must have a minimum of three years professional experience working in a Medicaid billing/auditing position. Must be knowledgeable of Medicaid program, eligibility requirements and rule concerning reimbursements. Must be familiar with Tribal operations and capacity to file claims for services under State Medicaid Plan, Veterans Insurance, and other private insurance payers. Must have demonstrated experience in filing appeals for denied services. SANITARIAN TRIBAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT (Various Locations) The successful applicant must have: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Public Health, or related field. Must be a Registered Sanitarian in accordance with Montana state regulations. Certification in Incident Command System (ICS) courses (ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800) or the ability to complete this within six months of hire. Documented experience in completing environmental health and food establishment inspections. Must possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as required for inspections and investigations. TRAINING SPECIALIST TRIBAL FORESTRY – DIVISION OF FIRE The qualified applicant must possess a High School diploma (or equivalent). Post-High School training in Natural Resources or Business Management would be highly desirable. Minimum qualifications as any Qualified Single Resource Boss. (Example any one of these, CRWB, HEQB, ENGB, FIRB, or FELB). Required Training, ICS-200, RT-130, S-230, S-290. If not currently qualified as a NWCG fire course coordinator that includes M-410 (Facilitative Instructor) or (equivalent teaching degree). TRIBAL DISASTER PREPAREDNESS & EMERGENCY SERVICES COORDINATOR DIVISION OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION NATURAL RESOURCES DEPARTMENT – POLSON, MT The Tribal Disaster Preparedness & Emergency Services Coordinator position is under direction from the Natural Resources Department, Division of Environmental Protection Manager and Tribal Council, in accordance with Tribal Policy and Ordinances, Federal Policy and Laws; will provide a Reservation wide emergency management program. Using professional judgment and personal initiative, coordinates public and private resources to meeting program objectives. This is a permanent full-time position within the Division of Environmental Protection. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Disaster Management, Natural Resources or related field is required. Minimum of one (1) year experience in developing and implementing organizational programs including community organization, or any equivalent combination of experience which provides leadership, writing comprehensive plans, motivate diverse interest groups and create long-term working relationships with all available community resources. Skilled in using the internet, Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint. Proficient in use of digital cameras, video and still; operation and maintenance of digital (wide and narrow band frequency) high band radios, handheld, mobile and base station. Incumbent must have good leadership, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
